PROJECTS

1

Bag of Rice

We provide the beneficiary street children's family a kilo of rice every day that the child stays in school and complete his/her homework. This daily ration is a form of incentive to the family for not pulling their child out of school and force them to help earn a living.

4

After School Tutoring

Every day, our tutoring volunteers help our beneficiary kids work toward completing all their homework. Our caring volunteers give students the one-on-one help they need to prepare for next day's class and develop their academic abilities, writing and reading skills.

2

Food for Education

Many children in impoverished countries like the Philippines go to school on an empty stomach. And most of these kids don't make it past the first-half of the school year.

The Food for Education project serves as an incentive for the street children to:

- come to school

- stay in school

- focus on learning rather than beg on

  the streets

5

Kiddie Book Club

After students complete their daily homework, the kids' shifts their attention towards reading. The kids or the volunteer will select a book from our in-house library to read aloud with the tutor-volunteer or silently together.

We need books from children's classics to fantasy and fairy tales to science books and children's bible.  These books will help expand the children's imagination and creative thinking.

3

School

Supplies

We are collecting new school supplies to send to our street children beneficiares in the Philippines. The donated school supplies will be delivered directly to the children that can't afford to go to school because they don't have school supplies. Most children come from single parent homes where education is eclipsed by hard labor in order to survive.
